From start to finish the whole process of commissioning my painting by Georgie was an absolute pleasure. She sent me progress photos throughout and considered my feedback at every step. I sent her photos of the space where the painting would go and photos of her other paintings that I liked. I could not be happier with the final result! I’m amazed at how Georgie has captured my personality in the painting, and so touched that she put a personal message on the back. Georgie went over and above in getting my painting safely to me all the way in the North East of Scotland. Thank you Georgie! I will love my painting forever.

I have had the total pleasure of working with Georgie on some of our recent projects. Initially attracted to her open free style which introduced a wonderful contrast to our designs, they were soon given greater depth and soul after visiting Georgie in her studio and understanding more about her process and methods. Once you have spent time with her you can see how invested Georgie is in her work, and I believe a little of her energy and love sits in each and every painting she creates. I really look forward to working and spending time with Georgie for many years to come.

We’ve always wanted a ‘Georgie’ commission and what we have on the wall is an absolute showstopper! We gave Georgie a complicated brief which kept evolving over time but she listened and advised and has created the most gorgeous painting. It’s everything we wanted…and more!

I had been searching for months and months for a piece of art for my living room. Then on a visit to see my friend I noticed he had some works of art that really caught my eye. It turned out to be ‘wee works’ which he had recently purchased from Georgie’s website. I then checked out Georgie’s page on Instagram and felt sure she could create something for me which would be unusual and unique. After some discussion via email I sent her pictures of my room and then left her to do what she does best. Georgie kept me completely updated through Instagram meaning I got to see the painting go from a blank canvas to the finished piece which is truly amazing. I can honestly say I was delighted with the professionalism shown by Georgie and that together with the fact she is a lovely person would leave me with no hesitation in recommending her to friends and family. A previously dead space within my living room now proudly boasts a one of a kind, original piece that really brings the room together and has been admired by everyone who sees it.

I’ve known Georgie for a long time and was always keen to have one of her pieces in my house. I want to support local artists, but I’ve also always loved her bold colours and brushwork, and her ability to add so much character to spaces in a home. When I saw this piece on her instagram I knew it was exactly what I was looking for. Georgie was always extremely responsive via direct message, both on pricing, payment, but also telling me about the painting, what she loved about it, and keeping me updated on progress with framing and delivery. The process itself was very straightforward and Georgie gave some easy advice on how to hang the painting and aftercare as well. The piece itself is perfect, adding some much needed light and character to the landing in my home. It’s exactly what I was looking for and I would not have wanted a painting from anyone else. All of Georgie’s pieces are so unique and you can tell she puts everything into what she creates. Thanks Georgie and I can’t wait to see what you do next.

We heard about Georgie through a mutual friend and fell in love with her work straight away.When the piece we purchased came up for sale I messaged Georgie straight away hoping it was available. The colours were so rich and deep; it was mesmerising. Georgie came and dropped off the painting personally and gave us tips on how to display it and care for the artwork. We have received so many compliments on the painting and I am dying to get a second piece purchased! Thank you for making the process so easy and for all your hard work.

I had heard of Georgie’s work through two paintings my parents purchased from her a couple of years ago, I then attended her first solo show in Edinburgh which really showcased her unique style and there were a number of pieces there which made me really want a commission of my own! Georgie reached out and was really collaborative in getting a feel for the space the painting was going to go in and what colours I wanted as a focus. Throughout the whole process Georgie was so friendly and a total delight to work with, she kept reaching out to check-in and let me know how things were progressing throughout. She’s used an excellent combination of colours with her creative flair to create a piece that really draws your attention and becomes the focal point of the room. This piece now owns the room and I’d decorate the remainder of the room around it - which is exactly what I was looking for! I would love to have another painting or ‘wee work’ from Georgie in the future.

Georgie was an absolute dream to work with. We were so lucky to snap up our painting and it really felt like a perfect harmony from Georgie’s very own character herself, all the way through to the painting’s character: it was the perfect fit. The care and very genuine love she has for each of her pieces is so clear and means that every single time you are buying something very special. Her enthusiasm is infectious, we found ourself bubbling with excitement in the days before the piece was delivered. Hand delivery with advice on hanging, positioning, light were all so amazing. An artist who cares so very deeply about the homes their work go to live in is beautiful. We are so grateful and so happy.

We saw Georgie’s work online and instantly fell in love with it. From the initial contact to the final piece being installed in our house, the process was flawless. We felt it was important to give Georgie the artistic freedom to express herself in our commission, and we weren’t disappointed. We took some photos of the area that the commission would be housed, gave her a little background and she took us on a journey. When we got little snippets from Georgie during the process it made us so much more excited for the final piece. Needless to say Georgie didn’t disappoint. Our stunning artwork takes pride of place in our forever home, aptly named ‘a chance to dance’ and will stay in our family for generations, safe alongside our other painting from Georgie, ‘Teddy’s Girl’. We’re genuinely thrilled to have been a small part of Georgies journey, and could not recommend her highly enough.

I read about Georgie and her work in the Homes and Interiors’s Scotland magazine and decided to take a look at her Instagram. One piece immediately stood out to me, and after contacting her about it turned out we were practically neighbours. She couldn’t have been more helpful, allowing me time to view the painting and take time to make a decision, even hand delivering it to my front door. I am so pleased with my purchase, it fits perfectly into my home, and I’m excited to see what the future holds for Georgie.

Our fabulous painting got delivered before Christmas and we are absolutely delighted with it. Georgie consulted with us several times during the process and the result is amazing. Initially we told her what colours we would like and from then she sent us photos to make sure we were happy before framing. We plan to hang our painting in our summerhouse and can’t wait till the spring to see it in place…when the weather warms up! I got in touch with Georgie through Instagram having seen her amazing work there. I wanted a bespoke painting made for my friends who had recently got married and who were in the process of buying their first marital home. Georgie was fantastic from start to finish. Even in a challenging 2020 and with the difficulty of not being able to meet face to face to discuss ideas and to look at her work in person, Georgie was extremely helpful and made the whole process a really enjoyable one. My friends were able to work with Georgie and create something together that they really loved, using their favourite colours and inspiration from Georgie’s other pieces. They have now got a beautiful bespoke painting, made especially for them, which they will have forever. They said it was the most perfect wedding present! Thank you for all your help Georgie. I must say, I am very excited to add a Georgie Bell painting to my own flat in the (hopefully) not too distant future.

Honestly couldn't recommend Georgie More! The process of getting one of her paintings was so stress free and she was so helpful answering all my questions along the way. She is an incredibly talented and an amazing person.

We are absolutely delighted with our incredible piece of art – it has completely transformed the feel of our bedroom. We originally discovered Georgie’s work on Instagram and were immediately taken with her style and amazing use of colour. Finding out that she went to art school in our hometown of Aberdeen was an added bonus! When looking for a unique piece of art to hang in our bedroom, we both felt that her work would be ideal for the space. Georgie was extremely patient with us when setting out our requirements in terms of colour and size – we gave her a palette of colours we wanted to introduce to the room and she asked a bunch of questions about things we hadn’t even considered to make sure we were properly guided through the process. Despite delays in delivery as a result of the pandemic, Georgie was sure to keep us informed and when we finally took delivery her dad was on hand to perfectly hang the piece on our wall. We cannot recommend Georgie highly enough – it is one of the best investments we have made for our home.

From the day I moved into my first flat I knew that I wanted a piece of Georgie’s work on my wall. I wanted something bold with lots of colour, that would fill a decent amount of space (I had a lot of it!) Commissioning a piece of work from Georgie was really straight forward. I was able to send her photographs of the space the canvas was going to be hung in, the colours I liked and disliked and let her know the rough dimensions that I was looking for. Throughout the process Georgie was really receptive to feedback I had. The process took a while, but boy was it worth the wait. I now have art on my wall that is truly unique and fits so perfectly in our space and with the rest of the decor. It has only been up a few weeks but it feels like its always been there. I'd definitely consider purchasing another piece in the future and would recommend Georgie to anyone who was looking for unique, bold and contemporary art. Also shout out to Georgie’s Dad who hung my painting. He did a really neat job and cleaned up thoroughly which I really appreciated. It definitely took the stress out of hanging it myself as it is very heavy!

This was our first commissioned piece of artwork and we weren't disappointed. Georgie’s professionalism, creativity and care throughout the process was reassuring and her enthusiasm for her work was infectious! Once it was established which room the painting was for, measurements were taken, photos were sent and colours discussed. She continued to communicate with us throughout the development of the piece, sending us photographs of the work so far and further questions she had as she worked through the process. We really appreciated this. Due to her perfectionism she only released the painting to us once she was a hundred percent happy with the outcome. We are delighted to own a lovely unique painting for our home, which will remain in our family for now and forever.

I have followed Georgie a long time and always admired her style of art. When we bought our flat we knew that we wanted to invest in a really special piece that would be a feature in our home. When “fruit under the peddle” became available to purchase we jumped at the opportunity, as it was exactly what we had been looking for. Georgie’s communication throughout the buying process was excellent, her expertise and knowledge made the experience of working with her feel so much more personal and individualised. We also paid through two instalments, which worked great for us. When Georgie and her Dad came to hang our piece, I was so in awe of the gorgeous quality of the painting and the craftsmanship of the frame. It is evident the amount of time, skill, and love that goes into her work. We always receive so many lovely compliments about it from visitors, it is truly a wonderful addition to our home.

We recently renovated our first home and found ourselves with the perfect opportunity to buy our first piece of artwork. After supporting Georgie through Instagram and seeing her work locally, we didn't have to think twice about commissioning her to create a unique piece that would brighten up our home. We chose to have a bold piece that represented Georgies modern style. Her enthusiasm for her work made us feel involved from the very beginning. By making regular contact, Georgie always made sure we were happy with the painting progress and she was always open to any suggestions and feedback. Our final painting “Bedside baby” was framed and installed by Georgie and her Dad Kenny in July 2020 and since then, not only is our home a happier place but we have so many stories to tell from our visitor’s wonderful comments. We were fortunate enough to win a custom piece of art created by Georgie at one of her exhibitions. We couldn't believe we won! I gave her a brief guideline of things that we didn't like but we were very open minded in what Georgie was going to create and left a lot of the inspiration up to her. She kept us involved throughout the process and she produced more than we could have imagined. This piece really shows how creative and talented Georgie is, the colours she worked with are striking and energetic. The piece has added such a statement of colour and beauty to our home. We've been living in Scotland for 6 years and will one day move home to Australia. We feel so lucky to have a Georgie Bell piece not only because of how brilliant it is but also because it will be a lovely reminder of our time in Scotland and what a special place it is for us. We can't thank you enough!

On the 24th of January 2020, we were fortunate enough to be invited to Georgie's first solo show. The event had a great atmosphere and Georgie hosted it with aplomb, as expected. One glance at her body of work and you could really see that each painting told its own story. We found each piece to be very emotional and that Georgie had found success in putting her own personality into her work. It was this personality that led us to choose “Sweetener” a very uplifting painting that reflects Georgies’ bright and bubbly character. It has pride of place in our home and commands your attention every time you enter the room and we wouldn't have it any other way. We love how much pride she has in her work and how much these paintings mean to her. This makes it all the more special to us. We can't wait to attend future exhibitions/events and to continue to support her talent.

Description gI was delighted to be invited to Georgie's first show. Having seen and loved her artwork over the years, I wanted to buy a new piece. I have an earlier piece that makes me smile every time I look at it but her work has evolved and changed and so I desperately wanted one of the bigger and bolder ones. I was excited about the show and insisted to my family that we arrive early as I knew the paintings would sell fast and I was not wrong, a few of the paintings had already sold when we arrived. I was straight away drawn to a painting. I gathered the family around “Pomegranate pipes”. It was a no brainer, the painting was fabulous, would look awesome in our home and we just loved it. The bold vivid colours and texture are just what I love about her work and this one was my favourite! The whole show was spectacular, I was impressed with all the work - wishing I could accommodate some of the larger paintings as well but my home would just not do them justice.

I found Georgies work on Instagram and was completely mesmerized by her unique sense of colour in her paintings. I find her work very fresh and modern. Certainly, my addition has complimented my house very well. Dealing with Georgie is even better in person. She is warm, personable, and lovely - and that exudes in her work too!

We were looking for a gift for my big birthday and when I discovered Georgie’s paintings, I fell in love with them. I wanted something that was Dores beach inspired by sky and sea. We talked through what we would like and Georgie checked in with us about the colours and it was an absolute pleasure to work with her. The painting is now up in our hall and freshens up and lifts up the whole area and brightens your day when you walk towards it or catch a glimpse. Thank you, Georgie

We have been friends with Georgie for many years and we have always supported and admired her artwork. When we bought our first home, we knew we wanted a statement piece and Georgie's artwork is just that. We admired a painting called “Stay dog” that she created and sold quickly so we knew roughly what we were looking for and wanted something similar. We contacted Georgie and she was so enthusiastic from the moment we arrived! As she began creating our painting, she was in regular contact, asking questions along the way. We were so impressed with her attention to detail. Georgie is a perfectionist and didn't want to sell us the painting until she was 100% happy with it. The all-round service was topped off with Georige and her Dad Kenny coming to install the painting. From start to finish it was a top-class service. If anyone is looking for a splash of colour to their homes/workplace @georgie.studio is the way to go!

It is quite hard to put into words just how much this piece means to me. The best money I have spent in a long time. It is the first piece of artwork I have bought myself and I couldn't have asked for anything better. You can feel the love and energy of Georgie through the paint and it has nestled perfectly into brightening my everyday. Even to the point of delivery you could see the care and sentiment of how much the work was a little part of Georgie blessing my home. Delivery was so easy and the paint on the frame was even topped up for me on arrival to ensure it was left perfect for me. Unlike any other painting I have seen and a genuine dream to own. From watching you grow from afar and to where our friendship is now I will always have a “hint of you” in my life (no matter how far apart we are.) I am blessed; my constant inspiration.

Best painting ever! I had seen Georgies work when I popped into the heathmount and I really liked it. I started following her on instagram and saw that she had a piece of art up for sale that would really compliment my flat. I messaged her online and it was reserved for me 5 mins later. She then dropped it off at my flat the next week and gave me advice on how I should hang. Overall it is a really easy process and everyone that visits complements it. We got in contact with Georgie as we felt we were missing something in our living/dining room and we felt a piece of her art would have been perfect. Although we had an idea of what we wanted we were still unsure of what would look best. Once we had a couple of conversations with Georgie she came up with some ideas for what colour schemes would go best. She kept us up to date whilst she was working on the painting and she was always open to feedback and other suggestions. We were sent a final photo of the painting and we absolutely loved it, it was then installed by Georgie herself alongside her Dad, Kenny in no time at all. Overall I couldn't recommend Georgie Bell highly enough, from the quality of the art to the professionalism and customer service she provided throughout. It will be the first of many that we buy from this young artist.

Georgie was the first call I made when looking for a large statement piece to finish off a total refurbishment of the heathmount hotel. I completely trusted her to do a great job so gave her free reign to do what she thought was best for the space. Her amazing talent and bubbly personality meant she was an absolute joy to work with. We have had so many positive comments about the painting that we commissioned her to do a second piece for our lounge bar. The paintings are the centerpiece of the hotel now. We love them!
